Mindy Mulliken

Science Teacher
Mindy was drawn to Crested Butte Academy for the ultimate learning and living experience. She feels fortunate to be a part of a learning environment that allows students to realize their potential both academically and athletically. Mindy moved to Crested Butte from Missoula, MT where she spent her most recent years completing her masters degree.  She is originally from Chesterland, Ohio a small town outside of Cleveland.

Mindy completed a B.S. in Business Administration and a Masters of Education with a science emphasis at the University of Montana and graduated through the honors program.  Her teaching experience includes teaching Biology, Chemistry, and Geometry at the World Class Kayak Academy as well as being an instructor for the Outdoor Program at the University of Montana.

This is Mindy's second year teaching science at the Crested Butte Academy.  She is currently teaching Biology, Chemistry, Physical Science, and Environmental Science and is looking forward to improving the outdoor program opportunities for the many athletically talented students at the academy.  She is currently living on the mountain while continuing to pursue her passions of teaching and the outdoors.
