Crested Butte Academy (CBA) has long been known for producing top-level junior snowboarders, alpine and freestyle skiers and endurance runners. CBA has become the premier U.S. academy for athletes in mountain sports such as Snowboarding, Alpine Racing, Freeride Skiing and Performance & Altitude Training and Mountain Biking programs. CBA programs include full-time day and full-time boarding school options as well as weekly and summer programs for aspiring to post graduate and professional training throughout the year.
CBA is the only ski-in, ski-out academy in the United States offering world-class alpine racing, freeride skiing and snowboarding programs, as well as performance & altitude training and mountain adventure programs.
Crested Butte Academy is a co-ed, college preparatory boarding and day academy serving students in grades 6-12 and offers comprehensive post-graduate programs.
CBA is located in the town of Mount Crested Butte, which is located in the heart of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, offering the most lift-access big mountain terrain in the United States. Four parks offer various slope-style features, a super pipe and high-level extreme skiing conditions. Elevations of 5,200 - 11,000 feet, perfect race conditions and hundreds of miles of well groomed, protected trails and dirt roads make CBA the ideal training location for professional and aspiring professional mountain sport and endurance athletes.
